Mission Statement

Adimu Men of Excellence Inc. (Adimu) is a non-profit charitable organization providing educational and mentoring programs and services to middle and high school males designed to develop young men who exemplify respect, responsibility, brotherhood and leadership. The word "Adimu" (uh-dee-moo) is a Swahili word that means "rare". Adimu Inc. will form partnerships with school districts in order to establish chapters of the Adimu Men of Excellence Club within local middle and high schools. Adimu's goal is to work with young males, especially underprivileged and at-risk males, to provide them with essential life skills, information, mentors and opportunities that will enable them to graduate from high school and become positive and productive men within our communities. Ultimately, Adimu Inc. will establish Adimu Academy which will be comprised of physical and virtual private and charter schools set up to accomplish the mission of Adimu Men of Excellence Inc. nationwide.
