ANSBI PROVIDES MEDICAL, DENTAL, OPTOMETRY, PHARMACY SERVICES, LABORATORY SERVICES, COMMUNITY WELLNESS AND DIABETES PROGRAMS TO THE ALAMO NAVAJO RESERVATION COMMUNITY THROUGH A PUBLIC LAW 93-638 INDIAN SELF-DETERMINATION AND EDUCATION ASSISTANCE ACT WITH THE US DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 2,300 RESIDENTS ON THE RESERVATION AT THIS TIME. THE ALAMO NAVAJO SCHOOL BOARD INC IS EXEMPT FROM INCOME TAXES AS A TRIBAL GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION AUTHORIZED BY RESOLUTIONS FROM THE ALAMA NAVAJO CHAPTER AND THE NAVAJO NATION.
