THE ALLIANCE FOR RETIRED AMERICANS EDUCATIONAL FUND (ARAEF) IS A SOCIAL WELFARE ORGANIZATION DEVOTED TO RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL ISSUES OF IMPORTANCE TO SENIORS, RETIREES AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE ARAEF FOCUSES PRIMARILY ON THREE PROGRAM AREAS: (I) RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF WRITTEN MATERIALS THAT DEAL WITH PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES THAT AFFECT RETIREES; (II) EDUCATION ON PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES THAT AFFECT RETIREES; AND (III) WORKING WITH OTHER NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ON ISSUES THAT AFFECT SENIORS, RETIREES AND THEIR FAMILIES.
