THE AMERICAN BIRDING ASSOCIATION PROVIDES LEADERSHIP TO FIELD BIRDERS BY INCREASING THEIR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ENJOYMENT OF BIRDING AND BY CONTRIBUTIONS TO BIRD CONSERVATION. THE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS THE INTERESTS OF BIRDERS OF ALL AGES AND EXPERIENCE. THEY PROMOTE FIELD BIRDING SKILLS THROUGH MEETINGS, WORKSHOPS, PUBLICATIONS, EQUIPMENT AND GUIDED INVOLVEMENT IN BIRDING; DEVELOP AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION ABOUT BIRDS, BIRDERS AND BIRDING; AND PROMOTE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL BIRDER NETWORKS.
