THEY PROMOTE FIELD BIRDING SKILLS THROUGH MEETINGS, WORKSHOPS, PUBLICATIONS, EQUIPMENT AND GUIDED INVOLVEMENT IN BIRDING; DEVELOP AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION ABOUT BIRDS, BIRDERS AND BIRDING; AND PROMOTE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL BIRDER NETWORKS. THE ASSOCIATION ACTIVELY ENCOURAGES THE CONSERVATION OF BIRDS AND THEIR HABITATS.
