Mission Statement

AFGE Local 138 represents federal employees that are in Certified Bargaining Units BU by employing formal and informal procedures to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and equitably. Local 138 negotiates Labor-Management Agreements and other Memorandum of Agreements on behalf of BU Employees. Local 138 lobbies Congress and Executive Branch Agencies on issues that affect federal employees.
