TO PROMOTE SCIENTIFIC AND CLINICAL RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF HAND THERAPY THROUGH GRANTS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE PATIENT CARE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SUSTAINED UPPER EXTREMITY INJURIES OR DISEASE.
