Mission Statement

The American Legion Auxiliary 9th District Assoc. is a liaison between American Legion Auxiliary units and the American Legion Auxiliary Dept. of Michigan. We hold quarterly meetings to conduct business. The district is comprised of Officers and Program Chairs who bring information from Dept. and relay to the units. The District Program Chairman supervise and guide local Auxiliary units in the implementation of Veteran programs administered by the American Legion Auxiliary. The District President supports a personal service project in her tenure associated with helping Veterans and their families. The President visits local units in the District and informs on programs and procedures. 100% of the activities associated with the ALA 9th District Assoc. are service and veteran related, directly benefitting the men and women who serve the United States of America.
