Mission Statement

THE AMERICAN LEGION POST 18 PROVIDES LOCAL SUPPORT FOR THE VETERANS IN THE COMMUNITY. THEY PROVIDE A SAFE AND COMFORTABLE ENVIRONMENT ALONG WITH ACTIVITIES, MEALS AND ENTERTAINMENT. THEY VOLUNTEER TO HELP THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH EMERGENCY SERVICES, SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL GRADUATING SENIORS; THEY ALSO PROVIDE THE COLOR GUARD FOR LOCAL CEREMONIES. FACILITIES ARE USED FOR FUNDRAISING FOR THE COMMUNITY. SUPPORT GROUPS FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. PROVIDE FAMILY ACTIVITIES DURING HOLIDAYS. RIGHT NOW THEY ARE PREPARING 48 DOZEN EGGS FOR THE EASTER EGG HUNT FOR THE COMMUNITY. PROVIDE CHRISTMAS & THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN NEED.
