Mission Statement

Angel Mamas is an Arizona-based nonprofit that provides two types of services to the public. Primarily, Angel Mamas raises funds and secures services for families with children living with chronic and life-threatening medical conditions. Families are referred to Angel Mamas by social workers and medical professionals who have intimate knowledge of the children's health conditions and personal backgrounds. This process helps to ensure that needs are genuine and requests for assistance are appropriate. Secondarily, motherhood is an overwhelming labor of love that can drain mothers of the best of themselves. Therefore, Angel Mamas provides a means for mothers to rally support for each other by coming together for women's fundraising and volunteer events. This type of social connection is essential for mothers to keep their sense of individuality and sanity.
