Mission Statement

Arts and Visually Impaired Audiences' mission is to serve the blind and visually impaired residents of Washington state with access to arts events and to develop creative opportunities for blind and visually impaired people. AVIA provides access services for the arts, implements programs that involve visually impaired people in the creation of art, and operates information systems that reach visually impaired people.
