TO PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBER AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS ENGAGED IN PROVIDING COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES TO PERSONS WITH MENTAL ILLNESSES AND TO PROMOTE PUBLIC AND GOVERNMENT AWARENESS OF THE NEED FOR SUCH COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES.
