Mission Statement

The Association for Music and Imagery has been created to maintain and uphold the integrity of The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music and to nurture and support all those who have been trained in it. In addition, The Association for Music and Imagery certifies Primary Trainers in The Bonny Method, sets minimum standards for the content of training programs in The Bonny Method, and certifies those training programs that meet these standards. In addition, The Association for Music and Imagery publishers a scholarly journal every other year and publishes two newsletters each year. In addition, The Association for Music and Imagery has established guidelines for the continuing education of practitioners of the Bonny Method and will make available to its members resources for this purpose.
