THE OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO FOSTER THE INTEREST OF THOSE ENGAGED IN THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING BUSINESS BY MAINTAINING HIGH STANDARDS OF BUSINESS ETHICS, BY DISSEMINATING ACCURATE AND RELIABLE INFORMATION WITH REFERENCE TO THE BUSINESS, AND IN GENERAL TO PROMOTE AND TO FOSTER FAIR PRACTICE AND LABOR RELATIONS. THE ASSOCIATION ENGAGES IN COLLECTIVE BARGAINING FOR ITS MEMBERS INVOLVED IN ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION AND/OR ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE, AND PROMULGATE SUCH RULES AND REGULATIONS WHICH SHALL BENEFIT AND PROTECT THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING INDUSTRY.
