LOCAL SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICTS DEPEND ON THE ORGANIZATION FOR LEADERSHIP AND COORDINATION IN NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION ENDEAVORS. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ITS ELECTED GOVERNING BODY AND PROVIDES INFORMATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES.
