TO PROVIDE A MEDIUM AT THE LOCAL LEVEL FOR ADVANCEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE INSTITUTE, TO PROMOTE CLOSER RELATIONS AND COOPERATION AMONG THE PROFESSIONS, CONTRACTORS, MANUFACTURERS, TRADE ASSOCIATIONS AND SOCIETIES WHICH ARE ENGAGED IN, OR DIRECTLY CONNECTED WITH, THE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
