Authors in April brings award winning authors and illustrators to visit the students in grades K-8 in the Rochester, MI school district. Books by the visiting authors and illustrators are sold and autographed as a part of the program. Over 10,000 students benefit from this program in an effort to promote a life long love of reading and writing. Outreach and books are also provided to low income students in Rochester and Pontiac.
