Mission Statement

The Avalon Rescue Squad, Inc. provides basic life support for the Borough of Avalon, NJ and neighboring communities. Emergency Medical Technicians staff the squad on a full-time basis. The Borough of Avalon compensates staff for salaries and benefits. As a result, the Avalon Rescue Squad, Inc. has NO expenses for salaries and benefits. The Avalon Rescue Squad, Inc. purchases life saving equipment and appurtenances for EMS and ancillary First Responders in Avalon, and participates in community public education through Public CPR and AED training and participation in community events events.
