THE MISSION OF AVANZANDO IS TO FURTHER THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE U.S. LATINO COMMUNITY IN AREAS SUCH AS HEALTH AND EDUCATION. THROUGH PRINT AND ONLINE MEDIA AND EVENTS SUCH AS SYMPOSIA AND CONFERENCES, IT WILL PROVIDE LATINOS WITH TIMELY INFORMATION ON CRITICAL ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION. AVANZANDO WILL NOT SIMPLY POINT OUT PROBLEMS, BUT SUGGEST SOLUTIONS. THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH MEDIA, GOVERNMENT, CORPORATIONS, AND OTHER NONPROFITS, IT WILL CREATE A FORUM WHERE ISSUES CAN BE ADDRESSED IN A POSITIVE MANNER TO BENEFIT THE LATINO COMMUNITY. AVANZANDO WILL BE SUPPORTED BY GRANTS AND DONATIONS FROM THE LATINO COMMUNITY.
