THE FAMILIES ARE SCREENED AND QUALIFIED BY ONE OF THE PROFESSIONAL REFERRAL AGENCIES IN THE AREA AND AT LEAST ONE PARENT IN THE FAMILY MUST BE WORKING. IN ADDITION, THE FAMILY OF THOSE CHILDREN DO NOT RECEIVE FEDERAL OR STATE ASSISTANCE TO QUALIFY. QUALIFIED FAMILIES ARE ELIGIBLE REGARDLESS OF RACE, CREED OR RELIGION.
