Mission Statement

BCEA's purpose is to unite Baltimore City public schools in advocacy for and support of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs, toward the goals of (A) improving student achievement, (B) increasing enrollments in engineering and related disciplines, (C) promoting teacher professional development and (D) providing a skilled workforce. Towards that end, BCEA promotes, organizes, creates and funds Baltimore City public schools' participation in STEM events and learning opportunities, such as Project Lead the Way and others.
