BIKE UTAH IS THE STATEWIDE, NONPROFIT BICYCLE ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION ORGANIZATION. OUR MISSION IS TO MAKE UTAH A BETTER PLACE TO RIDE, AND WE ENVISION A UTAH WHERE COMPLETE ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION NETWORKS AND THRIVING CYCLING CULTURE CONTRIBUTE TO LIVABLE, CONNECTED, HEALTHY COMMUNITIES, ALLOWING EVERYONE TO RIDE REGARDLESS OF AGE, ABILITY, RACE, OR INCOME. WE AIM TO ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION BY: WORKING FOR LAWS AND LEGISLATION THAT ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE SAFE CYCLING; EDUCATING CYCLISTS AND MOTORISTS ABOUT SAFE CYCLING, SHARING THE ROAD, AND OBEYING THE LAW; ASSISTING IN THE DEVELOPMENT, GROWTH, AND EFFECTIVENESS OF LOCAL CYCLING ADVOCACY GROUPS; DEVELOPING A NETWORK OF SAFE CYCLING ROUTES THROUGHOUT UTAH; AND PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE, HEALTHY LIFESTYLES.
