The Black Health Care Coalition purpose is to reduce health disparities through access to care health promotion and patient advocacy The organization hosts programs such as Community Baby Showers for expecting families to support their access to the medical delivery system during and up to seven years after birth The organization also provides basic health screenings such as blood pressure glucose checks Alzheimers screenings and depression screenings The services are offered at no-cost to participants
