Mission Statement

THE BLACK VOICES FOR BLACK JUSTICE FUND (BVBJ) IS A NONPARTISAN, NONPROFIT CORPORATION WHOSE PURPOSES ARE TO: (I) PROVIDE SUPPORT, VIA GRANTS, TO HELP BLACK LEADERS SHAPE THE MOVEMENT TO BUILD A FAIR, EQUITABLE, AND ANTIRACIST AMERICA; AND (II) ELEVATE AND AMPLIFY ONGOING EFFORTS TO ADDRESS THE NATIONAL CRISIS SURROUNDING RACISM, WHITE SUPREMACY, POLICE BRUTALITY, AND RACIAL INEQUALITY.
