Mission Statement

The organization's primary purpose is to provide rescue services, medical care, and permanent sanctuary to animals rescued from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and the slaughter pipeline and to offer public education and advocacy on their behalf. We offer a home to animals not accepted at traditional animal shelters and make sure their needs are met for the remainder of their natural lives including nutritious food, safe shelters, warm bedding, enrichment, socialization, and a peaceful habitat. We educate humans about the impacts of a plant-based diet to help not only the animals, but to reduce climate change, increase food security among vulnerable populations, increase biodiversity, and improve human health. We offer leadership programs for teenagers, volunteer programs for individuals with disabilities, and of course, the chance for humans and non humans to connect in a healing environment.
