THE PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATION OF ITS MISSIONS IS THE BELIEF THAT PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZED SPORTS CAN MAKE A SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE SPIRITUAL, ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTH. PARTICIPATION IN ATHLETIC SPORTS IS THEREFORE AN IMPORTANT PART OF A BALANCED LIFESTYLE THAT REINFORCES VALUES TAUGHT IN THE FAMILY AND BY OTHER EDUCATIONAL, RELIGIOUS AND SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS AND IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF A HEALTHY COMMUNITY.
