Mission: To increase breastfeeding rates in the Black and Brown community with individual consultation group education and community lactation training. To offer affordable lactation consultation and free support to our clients. We will strive to maintain an open space for our pregnant and postpartum families to learn share and explore their feelings around parenting and their infant feeding experience. We desire to activate our clients voice of self-advocacy amplify breastfeeding support in our community and increase lactation knowledge to parents birth workers and community members. Program Activities: Performed all activities stated in mission weekly monthly to incl. group & individual sessions community lactation trainings and education events to build a supportive community for parents. In addition we also offer workforce development & mentorship by providing continuous learning opportunities & career progression to support staff community members and lactation mentees.
