Mission Statement

BOND or Building Our Nation'sDaughters is a nonprofit serving Black single moms and their daughters. Its mission is to engage single Black moms cultivate community and promote positive mom-daughter relationships to promote health wellness economic mobility and educational achievement. In the last two quarters I continued to establish BOND as a hub and leading organization supporting Black single mothers their middle-school daughters and families. In addition we expanded our partnerships resource matching capabilities media features and program offerings for our participants. In the third and fourth quarters I decided to expand my team again to fit the needs of our moms and daughters. This small expansion has allowed me to further delegate tasks to my team create systems for automation and focus on strengthening our curriculum funding and infrastructure. BOND held weekly two-hour sessions with both cohorts virtually through the end of programming in June.
