Burma Humanitarian Mission provides medicine training to backpack medics who provide health care to isolated villages in Burma. In 2024, we provided support 50 teams with more than 3.2 million doses of medicine. We support training 40 new medics a year. We also support backpack medics' children to attend primary and secondary schools. The teams supported 120,000+ people and treated over 41,000 patients. BHM supports primary and secondary schools in Thailand as well as educational opportunities or at risk youth in Burma's larger urban areas. BHM also supports civic & democratic education programs
