Mission Statement

Our mission to restore and protect the Cahaba River watershed and its rich diversity of life. The diverse lives depending on the river include the Cahaba's exceptional freshwater biodiversity and also the diverse residents of Birmingham, Central Alabama, and the Black Belt, who rely on the River for drinking water, recreation, tourism, food and many other needs.
