THE CALOPTIMA FOUNDATION HAD BEEN FORMED AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION UNDER THE CONTROL OF CALOPTIMA FOR THE BENEFIT OF CALOPTIMA MEMBERS AND OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN ORANGE COUNTY. THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE FOR THE FOUNDATION IS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HEALTH RELATED PROGRAMMING AND FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES THAT ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO GOVERNMENT ENTITIES. CURRENTLY, THERE IS ONLY ONE PROGRAM UNDER THE FOUNDATION, CALOPTIMA REGIONAL EXTENSION CENTER, WHICH IS FUNDED THROUGH THE FEDERAL AMERICAN REFORM AND RECOVERY ACT.
