Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the organization is to provide outreach, information and support for residents, businesses and other stakeholders of municipalities within the eight counties of the Capital Region, Regional Economic Development Council and beyond, as they explore, form and sustain Community Choice Aggregations (CCA's) in order to bring affordable, renewable energy to as many New York communities as possible. A diverse, inclusive, equity-centered approach is essential to meeting our goals and helping to expand renewable energy development and resilience within our eight-county region and across the state, and contribute to a local and equitable green energy economy.
