Mission Statement

THE CAPTAIN JOSEPH HOUSE FOUNDATION PROVIDES A CONTINUUM OF CARE FOR THE FAMILIES OF THE FALLEN (KNOWN AS GOLD STAR FAMILIES) IN HONOR AND MEMORY OF CAPTAIN JOSEPH WILLIAM SCHULTZ, ARMY SPECIAL FORCES, WHO DIED IN WARDAK PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES AN EXPENSE PAID RESPITE ON THE OLYMPIC PENINSULA FOR FAMILIES FROM ALL BRANCHES OF THE MILITARY, FROM THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY AND FROM A POST 9/11 LOSS.
