Mission Statement

Serves as a Health Information Exchange (HIE) to provide South Carolina citizens with more effective and efficient delivery of emergency services through networked systems that allow viewing by physicians of patient-specific information. HIE enables elimination of unnecessary repeat testing, enhanced medical diagnosis, and improved medical outcomes. HIE also may support disaster preparedness and reunification.
