WE WILL SHED LIGHT ON CRITICAL COMMUNITY ISSUES AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY TO LEARN BEST PRACTICES FROM WORLD-CLASS EXPERTS IN THE SPEAKER SERIES AND THEN ENGAGE IN WORKSHOPS, NEIGHBORHOOD IMPACT EVENTS AND OTHER LEARNING EXPERIENCES AS WELL AS BE PART OF THE PUBLIC DECISION-MAKING PROCESS. THIS WILL RESULT IN POSITIVE CITIZEN-POWERED CHANGE. THIS MODEL OF CIVIC ENGAGEMENT WILL BE REPLICABLE AND FREELY SHARED WITH OTHER COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY ON AN ONGOING BASIS.
