Present and teach tennis, primarily to inner city kids yet allowing opportunity for all kids to participate; and many do. We teach tennis, but our main focus is on the total development of our youth. We try to instill the many attributes that are an offshoot from tennis; focus, respect, timeliness, responsibility, accountablity, fair play, sportsmanship, dedication, moral and ethical behavior, and decision-making, to name a few. In addition to tennis, we also have a dedicated after school program that offers homework assistance, mentoring, tutoring, and character-building. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, essentially all tennis activities ended, park sites closed, schooling was seriously revamped, and for the most part, CTTA was non operational.
