Mission Statement

SINCE 1983, CHARLEE HAS PROVIDED SERVICES TO THE CHILDREN IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY. THROUGH OUR EFFORTS, WE STRIVE TO ACHIEVE PERMANENCY AND NORMALCY FOR THE OVER 1,200 CHILDREN WE SERVE EACH YEAR. OF THE CHIDLREN SERVED, 38% WERE AFRICAN-AMERICAN, 41% HISPANIC AND 21% OTHER OR UNDETERMINED. FURTHER, 49% OF OUR CHILDREN ARE GIRLS AND 42% OF YOUNGER THAN 5. ALL OF THESE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES ARE FROM MIAMI-DADE COUNTY.
