CHARLESTON HABITAT FOR HUMANITYS (CHFH) VISION IS A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE HAS A DECENT PLACE TO LIVE. SEEKING TO PUT GOD' S LOVE INTO ACTION, CHARLESTON HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER TO BUILD HOMES, COMMUNITIES, AND HOPE. BY FACILITATING HOMEOWNERSHIP, FAMILIES CAN BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY, WHICH GOES A LONG WAY TO BUILDING A BETTER FUTURE FOR MULTIPLE GENERATIONS. CHFH PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE PACKAGE OF SERVICES, INCLUDING SERVING AS A MORTGAGE LENDER, HOME BUILDER, SOCIAL SUPPORT PROVIDER, AND RECRUITING AND TRAINING CENTER. THE ORGANIZATION SERVES FAMILIES EARNING 35% TO 60% OF THE AREA MEDIAN INCOME (OR UP TO 80% FOR VETERANS). THIS IS A DEMOGRAPHIC THAT IS NOT SERVED BY TRADITIONAL LENDERS.
