OFFER INSTRUCTION IN T'AI CHI CH'UAN, QI GONG AND RELATED INTERNAL MARTIAL AND HEALING ARTS FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF THE COMMUNITY. TO HELP INCREASE THE AWARENESS OF THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF T'AI CHI CH'UAN AND QI GONG BY TEACHING IT TO THE CHARLOTTESVILLE COMMUNITY MEMBERS. AS PART OF AN OUTREACH PROGRAM, EXPERIENCED STUDENTS AND INSTRUCTORS GIVE TALKS; CLASSES, LEAD WORKSHOPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS. PRACTICE SEESIONS ARE HELD TO REINFORCE LEARNING AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS TO SHARE WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED. CLASSES ARE HELD IN A LOCAL STUDIO AND/OR ONLINE, AS CONDITIONS ALLOW; THE CLASSES ARE TAUGHT BY QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS AND WORKSHOPS ARE HELP BY INVITED GUESTS.
