Mission Statement

Chartiers-Houston Youth Basketball Association (CHYBA) is a non-profit organization which recognizes that basketball can play an important role in a young person's life. Our mission is to create a healthy and safe environment where we can provide the opportunity for our youth players to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values that will build character, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship. CHYBA will organize and manage programs to teach and develop confident youth players that can improve their athletic abilities and learn about teamwork while having an opportunity to play in competitive games of basketball.
