Mission Statement

The Chautauqua Lake Property Owners Association, Inc. mission is to protect the interests of property and business owners and lake users on and near to Chautauqua Lake. Its goal is to maintain the beneficial uses and value to protect the interests of property and business owners and lake users on and near to Chautauqua Lake of nearshore and shoreside properties and the Lake. A major part of the CLPOA's work is informing and educating the public. This is done by identifying and evaluating potential scientific, sccial, and economic benefits and risks of enacted and potential actions by local, regional, state or federal governments, lake organizations, and special interests, researching and evaluating such actions and their effect on the community, communicating the results, educating the public, with the benefit of our scientific and Lake experience.
