Mission Statement

The Chemung Project for Bail Program provides pretrial services within Chemung County for all misdemeanor, felony and violation charges including periodic parole violators and fugitives from justice with in person check ins, referrals to outside treatment programs and an option of electronic monitoring at courts discretion. A supervised community service program is provided to both felony and misdemeanor courts in lieu of incarceration and having to post bail money. Target populations are those aged 18 and over.
