Mission Statement

Cherrywood Lumberman's Association was organized in 1994 to provide and alternative structure to hardwood lumber manufactures in Pennsylvania and neighboring states for coverage of Worker's Compensation to all of their employees. Lumber manufacturing, especially for sawmills, is one of the highest rates due to the nature of the work. The organization focus is not only on lower premium but also safety issues.
