Childhood Tracheostomy Alliance has a Caregiver Grant Program (started FY 2024) in which we distribute $1,000 caregiver grants to assist with out-of-pocket medical expenses and financial hardships associated with caring for a child with tracheostomy and ventilator dependence. We also have a supply donation and redistribution program in which we accept new, unused durable medical equipment (tube feeding, ventilator, tracheostomy, wound care, respiratory) and distribute to those parents who reach out on our website and express need for supplies. Supplies are shipped free of charge to the customer. This program was started in response to significant need related to necessary medical supplies that are limited by insurance allowance and are expensive for families to purchase out of pocket. We also provide education to community members regarding tracheostomy and ventilator dependence.
