Mission Statement

Fine Arts, Non Professional community theater-Cincinnati Music Theatre's mission is to serve as a non-profit civic enterprise dedicated to the encouragement & production of outstanding non-professional musical theater and providing educational musical theater opportunities for people of all ages. Each production provides our volunteers an opportunity to exhibit their talents in performance and production management & each volunteer is part of a production team aimed at providing high quality, value-priced theater for Cincinnati area audiences. Each production reaches over 2,000 people in the Greater Cincinnati area, representing all ages, races, cultural & ethnic backgrounds. CMT strives to bring high quality, nonprofessional theater to audiences at affordable prices so that those who otherwise might not be able to afford the cost of a touring Broadway production may experience the art form in the Aronoff Center, the city's premier theater venue.
