CITIZEN UNIVERSITY IS BUILDING A CULTURE OF POWERFUL, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENSHIP ACROSS THE COUNTRY. WE BELIEVE THAT A STRONG DEMOCRACY RELIES ON STRONG CITIZENS, THAT EACH OF US HAS POWER TO MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN IN CIVIC LIFE, AND THE RESPONSIBILITY TO TRY. WE DO THIS BY EQUIPPING AND SUPPORTING CIVIC CATALYSTS AROUND THE COUNTRY TO CREATE INVITATIONS, EXPERIENCES, AND GATHERINGS THAT BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER TO PRACTICE CITIZENSHIP AND TO BUILD UP THEIR CIVIC SKILLS AND COMMITMENTS.
