Mission Statement

The mission of Clan Baird Society Worldwide Foundation is to preserve and promote the customs, traditions, and heritage of the Scottish people by sponsoring periodic expositions devoted to Scottish history, culture and art forms; making grants directly to organizations and other entities which are dedicated to the purposes of Clan Baird, including, but not limited, to museums, libraries, and educational organizations involved in the preservation of Scottish and Clan Baird sites and antiquities, as well as education and scholarship. This year, due to COVID, all our activities were by ZOOM, and did not cause expense to the Foundation. All monies are saved to be used in educational festivals for 2021. In 2020, we had a bagpiper demonstration in December, free to the public, by ZOOM, and several other demonstrations of Clan Baird history during the summer, in place of the usual festivals.
