THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THIS CORPORATION IS FORMED IS THE SUPPORT OF AND UNDERTAKING TO COMMEMORATE THE PIONEER SETTLERS AND PRESERVE THE HISTORY OF CLAY COUNTY, TEXAS, THE MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF THE PUBLIC PIONEER GROUNDS TO CONTAIN HISTORIC MATTERS RELATING TO SAID COUNTY AS WELL AS TO CONTAIN BOOKS AND OTHER MATTERS AND THINGS RELATING TO THE PIONEERS OF CLAY COUNTY, AND TO PROMOTE ANNUAL REUNION GATHERING OF PIONEERS THAT DIRECTLY IMPACTS THE TARGET POPULATION BY FOSTERING COUNTY-WIDE SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION IN AMATEUR RODEO, FLOAT PARADES THAT ENCOURAGE PAINTING, CREATIVITY AND FINE ARTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE HISTORY AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR ALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS OR ORGANIZATIONS OF CLAY COUNTY, TEXAS AND ITS PIONEERS, AND TO SUPPORT AND MAINTAIN THE SAME.
