Mission Statement

To preserve the memory of the 490 people who died as a result of the fire at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub in Boston on Nov. 28 1942. To honor the brave first responders and citizens who rescued those trapped inside and to recognize the breakthroughs in fire protection and burn care with a lasting memorial.
