THE COLORADO CRIMINAL DEFENSE BAR IS DEDICATED TO PROTECTING THE RIGHTS OF THE ACCUSED AND THE WELL-BEING OF THOSE WHO DEFEND THEM. THE ORGANIZATION IS UNALTERABLY OPPOSED TO THE DEATH PENALTY. THE CCDB IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO THE CRIMINAL DEFENSE COMMUNITY IN AN EFFORT TO PROMOTE ZEALOUS ADVOCACY FOR OUR CLIENTS AT EVERY STAGE OF REPRESENTATION. PURPOSE. TO (1) UPHOLD AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF COLORADO, (2) PROMOTE THE JUST PRACTICE AND ADMINISTRATION OF CRIMINAL LAW, (3) PROMOTE THE IMPROVEMENT OF CRIMINAL LAW, PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE, (4) PROMOTE THE TRAINING OF CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYERS, (5) PROMOTE AND FACILITATE THE COMMUNICATION, SUPPORT, AND ASSISTANCE BETWEEN CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYERS IN HANDLING THE RIGORS AND BURDENS ATTENDANT TO THE PROFESSION, BETWEEN CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYERS, (6)PROMOTE THE INTEGRITY, INDEPENDENCE AND EXPERTISE OF DEFENSE LAWYERS IN CRIMINAL CASES; (7) PROMOTE HOLISTIC, CLI
